Abstract

The article presents a study comparing the efficacy of multi-agent regiments of cisplatin, adriamycin and VP-16 with or without megace (PAV-M) against carboplatin and paclitaxel to treat advanced and recurrent endometrial cancer. The study conducts a retrospective review of patients with stage III, IV and recurrent endometrial cancer receiving adjuvant chemotherapy at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Results show no differences in overall survival in both treatment.
