Abstract
- The article discusses the role that librarians have in helping patrons sort through the credibility of online and print reference sources related to health sciences. The author discusses print resources such as the "Merck Manual Home Edition," online resources such as PubMed which hosts peer-reviewed academic medical journals, as well as U.S. government resources of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, located at www.cdc.gov. Also discussed is librarian-patron communication.
