Abstract
- A novel hexanuclear complex [Ag6(μ-dppa)4(μ3-2-(NH2) C6H4S)4](BF4)2, was synthesized by the reaction with [Ag2(μ-dppa)2](BF4)2 (dppa = bis(diphenylphosphino)amine) and Na[2-(NH2)C6H4S] [sodium 2-(amino)benzenethiolate] as components and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, 31P NMR, and UV-vis spectra. The structure of the complex was determined by X-ray analysis. The results of structural analysis show that the compound is hexanuclear. The six silver atoms of the complex are arranged as a structure of two Ag3 isosceles triangles, with the two Ag3 planes roughly perpendicular to each other; the two Ag3 triangles are bridged by the four sulfur atoms of the four [2-(NH2)C6H4S)4]− ligands.
