The "Blog Mob" revisited.

In an essay, the author recalls the reaction to his 2005 article "The Blog Mob," published in the "Wall Street Journal," in which he criticized blogs and bloggers, comparing them unfavorably to the efforts of traditional journalists. He suggests that less than a decade after the article's publication it has become evident that bloggers are adopting more professional habits, while the traditional media is learning to accommodate itself to the imperatives of the Internet.
