Abstract
- The article focuses on a study related to oral mucosal lesions in children of Turkey. The study states that 28 percent of lesions are found on tongue followed by gingiva with 21 percent and labial mucosa with 18 percent. The study highlights that the prevalence of oral disease in older children is higher than the younger children. The study concludes that the range of oral mucosal alterations diagnosed encourages dermatologist and pedodontist to investigate children's mouths.
