Abstract
- The article determines the effect of arthroscopic partial medial meniscectomy (PMM) on tibiofemoral stability. It presents a study to measure impact of PMM on tibiofemoral stability and evaluates the anterior-posterior (AP) position and knee laxity of the medial femoral condyle. It concluded that partial medial meniscectomy with 46 percent resection of the original width of the posterior horn significantly altered the AP position of the medial femoral condyle and also increased laxity.
