Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the association of crab spider (Synema obscuripes) with the Malagasy pitcher plant Nepenthes madagascariensis in Sainte Luce on the southeast coast of Madagascar. This study addresses how frequently are N. madagascariensis pitchers colonized by spiders. Results suggest that S. obscuripes is highly specialized for a life within the pitchers of N. madagascariensis.
