Abstract
- The article offers the author's insights on the concept of political suicide in the U.S. The author mentions the blunder of Todd Akin regarding legitimate rape wherein the leadership of the Republican Party distanced theirselves from the comment. However, the author argued that the Republicans should issue statement that condemned the comment of Akin but at the same time must insists against abortion even in rape and incest.
