Ultrasonographic Characterization of Cervical Lymphadenopathy in Chronic Autoimmune Thyroiditis.

The authors focus on a study carried out to analyze the chronic autoimmune thyroid disease (CAT). They report that CAT is associated with lymph nodes that have axis greater than one centimeter in cervical levels as compared to the healthy control group. They also report the possibilities of metastasis from thyroid cancer which is derived from follicular cells.
