Premeny relevancie v informačnej vede a informačná ekológia.

The category of relevance is introduced on the basis of information science development. The article describes briefly the history of relevance concepts, system and user-oriented approaches. New functions of electronic medium brings so called „relevance revolution“. According to the results of the author's own research relevance could be interpreted as an active cognitive process running during people's interaction with information and as multidimensional multicriterial links. The author proposes a new model of relevance in the electronic medium - so called relevance 2.0, and outlines a principle of ecological relevance on the basis of information ecology framework.
