Abstract

The article presents a study which investigates the feasibility of having echocardiographic data that could reflect pulmonary artery pressures (PAP) and right ventricular function during exercise in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Ten patients undergoing right heart catheterization (RHC) were evaluated using echocardiography. Results reveal the feasibility of exercise echocardiography for the assessment of hemodynamics and right heart function in PAH patients.
