Abstract
- Octalones (V) are obtained by a Diels-Alder reaction of cyclohexenone (I) with dienes (II) followed by a silica-mediated isomerization of octalones (III) and a subsequent Saegusa oxidation of silylenol (IV). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
