Abstract

The article reports that on March 22, 2013, U.S. President Barack Obama helped Israel and Turkey reach a resolution to a dispute over Israel's 2010 raid on a Turkish ship aiding Palestinians in Gaza. It states that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan following Obama's participation in the reconciliation and both sides have agreed to dispatch envoys. Details of the 2010 attack on the Turkish flotilla ship known as the Mavi Marmara are provided.
