Abstract
- The article analysis involvement of nutrition response and root growth(NRR) gene in rice heading date regulation. It mentions that NRR is spliced in two segments namely NRRa and NRRb which regulate negatively growth of root in rice plants under the macronutrient-deficient conditions. It discusses differences between NRRa and NRRb genes and discusses role of these genes in regulating flowering in rice. It has been found that overexpression of the gene NRRa results in delayed in heading date.
