Abstract
- The article presents two case studies of atypical subtrochanteric fractures in patients who had undergone long-term bisphosphonate therapy. The first patient had taken alendronate for osteoporosis and was presented to the hospital after a minor twisting injury to the left leg. The second patient was presented to the hospital due to a low-energy trauma after three years of alendronate therapy for osteoporosis.
