Abstract

The article presents a case study of an 80-year-old woman presented with six week history of progressive, painless arm weakness which results to bilateral wrist and finger extensor weakness over two weeks. Physical examination reveals a symmetrical, upper limb, mostly distal, motor neuropathy, with bilateral wrist drop, and absent upper limb deep tendon reflexes. Chelation therapy with succimer was given after lead toxicity was diagnosed and in November 2012, she made a good health recovery.
