Abstract
- The article reports that on April 5, 2013 Rutgers University Athletic Director Tim Pernetti resigned following public backlash from a video showing head basketball coach Mike Rice physically and verbally abusing players in 2012. Rice's April 3 dismissal is discussed as well as comments from Pernetti in which he stated he planned to fire Rice in 2012 but could not due to university policies. A 2012 university-issued report from lawyer John P. Lacey on the alleged abuse is also discussed.
