Abstract: A conference paper on the use of lagging strands of DNA to study chromosome replication is presented. It offers information that the paper was presented at the "Epigenetics and Chromatin: Interaction and Processes" conference which was held on March 11-13, 2013 in Boston, Massachusetts. It discusses the production of Okazaki fragments during DNA replication which are strogly influenced by nucleosomes and DNA bound factors.
