Abstract

The article presents a medical case of a 57-year-old female patient with weakness and a 2-month history of progressive pain and morning stiffness of her bilateral shoulders. The pathology result was considered as a parathyroid carcinoma and polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). The article also reveals that the patient had no complaint in the second month of PMR therapy and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive peptide (CRP) values were within the normal range.
