Abstract
- It is shown that active mode locking with regularized pulse trains can be implemented in two types of sync-bands. The analysis was executed with delay equations. In the sync-bands of the first type, regularization can be explained by increasing a "restoring force" of reproduced pulse states. The sync-bands of the second type are implemented near specific bifurcations where regularization is founded on essential deceleration of unstable temporal shifting processes. Effectiveness of the last laser mode is shown on the instance of the bifurcation of single pulses into two-pulse complexes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
