Abstract
- This paper proposes a reflection on the processes of identity construction in a context where traditional identity references are in crisis. Thinking about Education and Social Intervention in a local development perspective involves the consideration of multiple cultural identities in interaction, and sometimes in conflict. Thus, there must be a development of a reflective stance to interpret identity as a process that results from the interaction between the subject(s) and there context(s). Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to conceptualize knowledge and the understanding of the organization of narrative identity as a reading strategy of the community and assess their weaknesses and potentialities, in the journey of construction of genuinely plural and inclusive communities.
