Abstract

The article states that a movement is emerging in the U.S. to oppose war on Iraq. The war plans of the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush in Iraq have unleashed a flood of antiwar sentiment and activity across the country. Various organizations, such as the National Council of Churches and the California Labor Federation, have issued strong antiwar resolutions while people are coming out to participate in peace marches and vigils. Several peace groups have also emerged, they include International ANSWER, United for Peace and Racial Justice 9-11.
