Abstract
- The article discusses research which examined the interobserver variability in grading transbronchial biopsy specimens for acute rejection after lung transplantation. An international grading system was created to standardize the diagnosis of acute lung-allograft rejection. Findings revealed overall corcordance rates of 74% and 89% for grade A and grade B biopsy specimens. In addition, a higher level of agreement early after transplantation was observed among samples.
