Abstract
- The article discusses a study conducted to investigate the prevalence of smoking among Korean-Chinese adolescents. It discusses various factors that affect adolescent smoking behavior such as increased alcohol use, poor school performance and lower socioeconomic status. The article discusses the influence of parental and peer smoking on adolescent smoking initiation and the effect of perceived smoking environment on the intention to smoke.
