Abstract
- The article reports on the announcement by Kyrgyzstan Prosecutor General Aida Salyanova that the Belarussian Prosecutor General's Office refused to extradite former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his brother Zhanybek, which was decided as the office believes the Bekiyevs are being persecuted for political reasons.
