Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 41-year-old Chinese male patient who experienced splenomegaly and fatigue while diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). It mentions the condition of the patient while he was treated from January 2007 to February 2010 including the progressive blast crisis and recurrent pleural effusion. It also warns the possibility that low-concentration of dasatinib will fail to eradicate all leukemia cells in the central nervous system due to its insufficiency.
