Abstract
- A new lignan ( 1) along with a known one ( 2) has been isolated from the fine roots of Chinese fir ( Cuuninghamia lanceolata). The structure of the new compound was elucidated on the basis of detailed 1D NMR, 2D NMR, and HR-ESI-MS spectroscopic analysis. To our knowledge, 1 represents the first 8,8′-dihydroxyl substituted dibenzylbutyrolactone lignan. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
