FRA Proposes Range of Improvements To Northeast Corridor.

The article looks at suggestions by the U.S. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) for commuter and intercity passenger railroad service improvements along the Northeast Corridor (NEC) of the U.S. Proposals include expansion of capacity of the existing passenger rail infrastructure between stations in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Boston, Massachusetts, express bypass railroad tracks, and construction of regional lines along the NEC.
