Hepatitis B Immunization in Health Care Workers: Needs and Opportunities.

The article discusses a study conducted by SM Alavian et al. which was aimed at identifying anti-Hepatitis B antibody titer in dental health providers in Iran and examining the likely correlation between the level of immunity and a number of important factors. Hepatitis B virus (HPV) is considered to be a serious global public health problem. The results suggest the need for a national vaccination program to better immunization coverage among dental health care workers in Iran.
