Abstract

In this paper the dynamical characteristics of a ferrofluid acceleration sensor are studied experimentally and theoretically. The stiffness coefficient and damping coefficient are key factors in dynamical characteristics of a ferrofluid acceleration sensor. The damping coefficient depends on the viscosity of ferrofluid.
