Abstract
- Highlights: [•] The 4–6μm region reflectance spectra of 13 HED meteorites were studied. [•] They exhibit absorption bands in this region due to Si–(Al–)O overtones. [•] The position of these bands can be related to their major minerals. [•] These bands appear in all HED spectra, from fine-grained powders to slabs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
