First International Symposium 'Epigenetic Control of Skin Development and Regeneration': How Chromatin Regulators Orchestrate Skin Functions.

Information about several papers discussed at a symposium held April 3, 2012 hosted by the Centre for Skin Sciences at the University of Bradford in Bradford, England on skin epigenetics with an aim to bring together two research communities including skin and chromatin biologists is presented. Topics include control of gene expression, homeostasis, and stem cell activity. The symposium featured several several university professors including Sarah Millar, Wolf Reik, and Shawn Coley.
