Aims of the research is to analyze the advantages of various types of imaging investigations and their limitations as early diagnosis of diseases in the stomatognathic system. In the complex oral rehabilitation are situations when an investigation requires more accurate imaging and diagnostic accuracy. From an economic perspective, its higher cost will pay off in that early diagnosis and intervention on early stage lesions have lower costs than therapeutic interventions for lesions that were diagnosed only after clinical manifestations.
