Sensilla on antenna and maxillary palp of predaceous fly, Lispe neimongola Tian et Ma (Diptera: Muscidae).

Highlights: [•] We add morphological information of antennal and palpal sensilla of an aquatic predator to those of non-predaceous species in the superfamily Muscoidea. [•] The function of coeloconic sensilla in flies as thermo- or hygroreception and acute vision of predator could account for their absence in the predator, Lispe neimongola.
