Abstract
- Highlights: [•] Different doses of DMSO are tested in 3 groups of rats after 5 stable epileptic discharges in the DG. [•] 100% and 50% solutions of DMSO with a dose dependent effect reduce the epileptic activity. [•] We infer that DMSO dampens excitotoxic phenomena reducing the glutamatergic transmission.
