Abstract
- The article reports on a study about the possible formation of a boron-boron triple bond with only three valence electrons. It says that boron normally resists the development of multiple bonding due to its highly electron-deficient nature. It explores the reactivation of a boron-boron triple bond and how it redefines the fundamental understanding of chemical bonding.
