Abstract

Archeology is mostly associated with Pre-History and the investigation on Humanity's past. However, Archeology also analyzes material culture that may be defined as artifact fabricated by humans. Current essay discusses the possibility of an Archeology of Rap through an investigation of the materials used in its musical paraphernalia, especially, the microphone. Instruments used by Rap people are mediators of social action and may be considered material culture. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
