Ligand-free indium(III)-catalyzed Heck reaction.

Abstract: A novel ligand-free indium(III)-catalyzed Heck reaction of various aryl iodides with olefins has been developed. As a result, a set of the corresponding E-internal olefins was obtained selectively in high to excellent yields. The reaction condition is tolerant to air, in accordance with the concept of modern green chemistry. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
