Abstract
- The article presents views of medical professional Clement Yeh regarding the triage operations and pattern of injuries in passengers of the Asiana Airlines Flight 214, which crashed in 2013. He informs that there are several factors that contributed to the survival of most of the passengers including rapid evacuation of the cabin, rescue operations by firefighters and restraints. He also mentions that most of the passengers had spine fractures resulting from hyperextension and hyperflexion.
