Abstract
- The article presents the text of Proclamation 8999 made by U.S. President Barack Obama on July 25, 2013 in which he declares July 26, 2013 as the anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act. He reiterates his administration's commitment to give equal treatment and job opportunities to disabled Americans, and enjoins the people to promote disability rights in the country and abroad.
