STRANGE BEDFELLOWS: INTEGRATING MATHEMATICS INTO LIBRARY INSTRUCTION.

The article looks at how mathematics can be integrated into library instruction and therefore increase the academic rigor of a library curriculum and increase the educational relevance. It focuses on how State Performance Indicators (SPIs), academic achievement evaluations within the U.S. Common Core State Standards, can be reflected in collection development and collection organization. A list of cross-curricular mathematics resources is also included.
