Discusses efforts to protect uninhabited Kaho'olawe, one of the eight major Hawaiian islands. It's the only place in Hawaii where evidence of the whole range of prehistoric and historic settlement periods still exists, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The island is a target for live-firing and bombing practice for the Army and Navy.
