Orbitocelulitida v dětském věku.

A retrospective study has explored the progress of incidence of orbital cellulitis in childhood and its therapy. Children treated between 2007 and 2011 at KDORL. The diagnosis of acute sinusitis with predominance of maxillary sinusitis was confirmed in the whole group. 65 of 107 patients were admitted into the hospital and 9 underwent an operation using the FESS technique. The results show the necessity of early therapy - therapy with antibiotics and additional therapy, especially using nasal corticosteroids whose importance has increased in recent years.
