Abstract

Highlights: [•] Plasma IP-10 and TNFα levels are increased in patients with sarcoidosis. [•] Levels IP-10 and TNFα inversely correlate with disease severity. [•] IP-10 provides good sensitivity and specificity for clinically active disease. [•] Treatment with corticosteroids is associated with reduced IP-10 levels. [•] African Americans have greater disease severity and higher IP-10. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
