Abstract

The article presents a case study of a healthy 3-year-old girl who was exposed to chlorine gas while sitting near swimming pool. Paramedics contacted Poison Control Center (PCC) on their way to hospital with patient. X-ray and tests revealed cough, tachypnea, wheezes and acute bronchitis and further tests revealed pulmonary edema but nebulizer with sodium bicarbonate and albuterol was given alongside corticosteroids that made the patient normal.
