Abstract

The article focuses on acute retinal necrosis, a rare sight-threatening condition that is defined by the combination of clinical features like retinal necrosis usually located in peripheral retina with circumferential extension, occlusive vasculopathy and anterior chamber inflammatory reaction. Topics discussed include the case of a 53-year-old patient who presented with a loss of vision in the right eye and was later diagnosed with acute retinal necrosis.
