Abstract

Thesolubility data of benzyl disulfide were measured using thesynthetic method and laser monitoring technique under atmosphericpressure in five solvents (ethanol, n-hexane, ethylacetate, toluene, and chloroform), with the temperature ranging from(283.45 to 333.15) K. The experimental data in each solvent were fittedby the modified Apelblat equation with good agreement. For all ofthe experimental solubility data in five solvents, the root-mean-squarewas less than 0.52 %, whereasthe average absolute relative error was less than 2.0 %. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
