Abstract

Assesses the usefulness of preoperative dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) for the identification of culprit coronary lesions in patients who died within 30 days of major vascular surgery. Reliability of a positive DSE in identifying patients at risk for a perioperative AMI; Implications for the relative efficacy of preoperative revascularization and perioperative medical therapy.
