Abstract

The article deals with the call of the Council of the Federation for more federal involvement in improving health care in Canada. The organization of provincial and territorial premiers also urged the government to stop funding cuts and offloading responsibilities such as health coverage for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and refugee health care. It relates the response of the Council of Canadians, the Canadian Nurses Association and the Canadian Pharmacists Association to the issue.
