If it is so necessary today to speak about the human capacity to assure coexistence among ourselves, this occurs because we live a period of the permanent deterioration of this coexistence. We can complain about this or be indifferent to it; however, we must reflect on this fact. This paper reflects on the ethics of coexistence and their importance to our society, in an age where what is indispensable is useless due to the rationality imposed by the neoliberal globalization model.
